- Creating a 'DMG installer' for OS X. A DMG Installer is convenient way to provide end-users a simple way to install an application bundle. They are basically a folder with a shortcut to the Applications directory but they can be customized with icons, backgrounds, and layout properties.
- The dmg contains a pkg file. Click this and go through the installation process. Click this and go through the installation process. After completing the install, you can go ahead and start up Xcode and when you come to create a new project, you should be able to choose PhoneGap as a template.
