I'm not real sure what you are asking, so this is a guess on my part. Select any.dmg file. Press COMMAND-I to open the Get Info window. In the Open With panel use the dropdown menu to select DiskImageMounter then click on the Change All button. If DiskImageMounter is not displayed in the dropdown menu then select Other. Mac OS X - Disc Image Not Recognised. Not caching the.dmg file which meant ALL requests for the.dmg are coming all the way back to the origin / source server.
