  • Elemental damage mods take a percentage of your damage, and adds that to the total damage. Fire does incrase dmg vs infected also cause enemy to panic. Ap do great dmg on everything. Ice to slow and shield get rid. Electric does increase dmg vs corpus and stun others. Poison do full dmg to everything and do ton of dmg to shields.
  • DE, please reconsider Ember's nerf Suggestion During today's workshop, we have come to know Chroma is getting his dmg multipliers fixed to what they're supposed to be, and on top of that he's getting buffs (vex multipliers being an aura is insane, and his 1 got QoL and buffs as well).

@zeik: I just barely had enough credits to buy the blueprint, and make the Karak. It'll be done in 24 hours, so we'll see how that goes. I also got rid of that armor mod, and added something else. Just feels like I'm having to do a ton of stuff to squeeze even 1% more effectiveness out of my warframe, and weapons. Best Beginner weapons in Warframe for Mastery Rank 1-5 would be. Melee: Nikana Prime (MR 4) – Insane damage output, and with the right mod combination you can melt enemies of level 100 without any problems. You can also use Tipedo or Atterax both are good enough to carry you to high-level content.

Overview


This build focuses on three aspects which are: CRITS, CRITS and more CRITS! (..and survivability, although that's boring.)
We are aiming to be as tanky as possible so that we can avoid getting one-shotted by attacks in higher difficulties, but the meat of the build still lies on the Damage Output.
This build is viable for both solo and co-op play.

Long Gun


Ruin is just an excellent weapon overall, having decent dmg, fire rate and reload speed. Where it truly shines however, is its insane clip size (30!) that synergizes well with our armor's passive (will be explained further). The mod on this weapon allows us to revive when it's fully charged, which is very nice to have. Btw, this is a 3-shot burst fire weapon wich some people hate, but personally, I love it.
Obtainable by killing the Undying King.

Handgun


We want SMG in the handgun slot for two things: close range control and the ability to slot in the Hunter's Mark mod. Hunter's Mark increases our crit chance by 15% for a whole minute which we definitely want! Fast melee enemies that rushes us are bad news since Ruin is quite bad at close quarters combat, but the SMG covers that weakness very well.
SMG: Obtainable in Ward 13.
Hunter's Mark: Purchasable in Ward 13 or Starting mod for the hunter archetype.

Melee (Optional)


Guardian axe. It's aesthetically pleasing since it matches our armor!Fashion souls = best souls!
..But on a more serious note, we don't really need a melee weapon so just go with whatever you think is best!

Armor


Radiant Set. The passive on this armor is just too good to pass up. More crit chance & dmg on dealing crits? yas pl0x. The Radiant Set has respectable defense and resistances, since it is a heavy armor, which ironically is it's only downside, but don't worry too much since we will be fixing this problem with the next entry.
Body and Legs: Purchase after depleting the conversation options with the Stuck Merchant (Yaesha)
Helmet: Obtainable in the Curio Dungeon (Yaesha).

Amulet


Leto's Amulet, the saviour of this build. This Amulet might seem trash initially, but the 40% weight reduction on armors means that our Radiant Set is now a MEDIUM weight class armor! No more fat-rolling, yeeet! It also has a 10% reduction in stamina cost which is a welcome addition!
Obtainable in the Hidden Sanctum Dungeon (Earth), in a rectangular dead-end room. Crouch past the wall with 'Only the penitent man may pass' writing. Not a 100% spawn, keep re-rolling!

Rings


Ah, Braided Thorns and Devouring Loop, the Burst Crit combo rings.
Braided Thorns gives you a 15% crit chance boost for 6s after killing enemies, which might be bad on other RPGs but you need to remember that bosses in this game spawns adds, which means the bonus from this ring is always going to be up!
Devouring Loop gives you a 5% chance on critical hits to deal 300% bonus dmg! NOW THAT'S A LOT OF DAMAGE! 5% might seem like a small number but a specific trait will increase this number by 15%, totalling to a whopping 20% chance!
Braided Thorns: Kill the root worshipper in Marrow Pass Dungeon (Earth).
Devouring Loop: Obtainable in Drowned Trench dungeon (Corsus).

  • Quick Hands: Raster reload = more dps!
  • Trigger Happy: More fire rate = more dps!
  • Handling: When you use frenzy dust (which you should on higher difficulties!), you will experience a significant increase in spread and recoil. This trait helps fix that.

  • Kingslayer: Crit dmg Increase, self-explanatory.
  • Executioner: Crit chance Increase, self-explanatory.
  • Mind's Eye: Ranged dmg Increase, self-explanatory.

Catalyst: This is the trait that increases Devouring Loop's proc chance by 15%! Max it!

NOTE:Aura mods increase amount of total mod-slots available to mod with on your warframe if the Polarity is matching the polarity your warframe have (can be changed by forma) – it actually doubles the capacity of the aura mod so if you have say 7 capacity on your aura mod, you GAIN 14 extra mod capacity for your warframe – hence the importance of matching polarities on aura mod slot.

Also note that Aura mods such as Corrosive Projection as well as Shield Disrupt and Energy Siphon are auras that stack within a group – if all have it they all stack with each other!

Corrosive Projection is a must-have for all missions vs. higher-level enemies that you need to kill – if all in team has it basically removes all their armor making them so much easier to kill.

Energy Siphon is useful for Passive energy regeneration – I personally think its useful for Spy missions when I go Loki and don’t want to run out so easily of energy.
